The beginning of my masterworks, painted in 2008, this work represents a level of dedication that would take me out of the production game and into the world of singular works of art that would stand on their own. This concept is both a personal expression as well as a reflection of the title. The singularity is that point in human history when technology and human behavior become inextricably bound, bringing us beyond an event horizon that defies speculation or understanding. This will change the human as subject, of art and all of the humanities, as well as how we conceptualize truth. With this painting as a genesis all of the other paintings stand in relation to this moment in time.
